In the heart of Great Barr lies a jewel of an Bangladeshi Restaurant, BASMATI.
Basmati is also the finest rice in the world, which is prepared for special occasions in the Asian traditional culture. Now, we are trying to establish these traditional respect in western countries to enlighten individuals of the culinary finesse of Bengali cuisine.

Here at Basmati Restaurant, we work hard to make our customers happy by offering them the best service and good quality food. All our staff are trained to the highest level and are ongoing in their development. Our waiters are at your service and will provide a 5 star service all the time.
 
We do a takeaway service, Free delivery within 3 miles radius. Most of our takeaway menu prices are 10% lower than our Dining-In menu prices.
 
We have disabled facilities including disabled parking. We are baby/children friendly and have high chairs and can provide child portions.

We specialise in authentic Tandoori, Balti and curry dishes, our food are of the highest calibre. Our Chef has over 20 years experience in his field. He has achieved many statutory awards internationally for his artistic abilities in producing exquisite Bengali cuisine. He has competed in The Curry Chef of the year awards from 1997 to 2000 and had won all.

 

We have a wide variety of dishes for vegetarians & non-vegetarians.
